cares about the traditions of an area that has always had a very strong olive growingvocation. Located at a moderate altitude on the gentle hills of Salerno in the municipality ofBuccino, with the surrounding woods and the calm waters of the Bianco river framing the estate, the olive groves enjoy the ideal microclimate for high quality production. Integrating a nucleus ofabout 500 centuries-old olive trees, new plants of autochthonous Carpellese cultivar haverecently been created, for a total of more than 10 hectares of olive groves implanted in thetraditional way and currently in conversion to organic farming.

Our ambition is to produce with passion and skill an excellent extra virgin olive oil, which is atestimony and homage to the territory, to be made known and appreciated worldwide.

OUR PRODUCT

Barone di Visceglia ® is an extra virgin olive oil entirely produced in Italy, obtained from thecold pressing of olives of the autochthonous Carpellese cultivar, harvested from olive groveslocated at an average altitude of about 250 meters above sea level. It is certifi ed in the categoryof extra virgin olive oils by the Virgin Olive Oils Tasting Committee of the Salerno Chamber ofCommerce. It has a low acidity (0.2%) and a medium content of polyphenols. Medium fruity, notes of artichoke and hints of fresh almond stand out.

The olive harvest takes place in early November, at the full ripeness of the drupes. The coldpressing takes place within a few hours of harvesting, by a continuous cycle extraction system ata controlled temperature. The oil thus produced is stored in special nitrogen-sealed stainlesssteel containers, in air-conditioned rooms at a constant temperature. The 500 ml bottle inopaque glass and equipped with an anti-topping cap is ideal for facilitating the optimalpreservation of the product, limiting its exposure to sunlight and prolonged contact with oxygen.
